Hello Jesper,
If you have questions about the spare-wheel-holder, I think you must contact the company Dangel.com.
They make the 4 wheel driven Berlingo (Partners) en with that, they move the spare-wheel to the rear door.
Goodluck!

Thank you, but the Dangel company was the first place I asked - they do not make the spare-wheel on the rightside rear door. They kindly told me to contact citröen.nl, as they observed that the Berlingo on the picture has Dutch numberplates. They also excused for not being able to be more helpfull. I then did a little search for Citröen Holland, and stumbled over this forum Smile

But my best guess is, that if it is not very common in Holland, it must be homemade by some clever man. I like it, as you properly have guessed Smile

Perhaps I should tell you why we need this “gadget”

We started out with this Danish made Twin-camp tent for our Peugeot Partner 1.4 2000 model. It is not made anymore.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

But the easter of 2009 was very cold in Sweden, we nearly froze our buts off.. so we looked at the bankaccount and upgraded to this T@B 320 RS 2009 model.

This summer my girlfriend took both for a trip to Germany, and learned the hard way that she should have got a sparewheel for the camper, and now we need a smart place to put it.

4 weeks ago we took another look at the before mentioned account, and got a red Berlingo 2.0 HDI 2001 model - that I must say, handles the camper with much more easyness than the just undermotorized Peugeot. The Berlingo is a van model - with 2 sliding doors, windows all the way around and A/C Smile
I is now my car - the Partner is my girlfriends.

Very nice combination with the silver Partner and camper/caravan!

So, if I understand you correctly, you want to put the camper/caravan sparewheel on the backdoor of the Berlingo? Does your red HDi has 2 side-opening doors at the rear, or 1 big lifting door?
Because, if you have 2 doors at the back, your turning angle with the camper/caravan will be very very short if you have your bicycles on the front of your camper/caravan.
If you have 1 big lifting door, I think you must change the opening-holder-cylinders into very heavy ones, because of the weight of the spare-wheel + holder. And ofcourse; watch the turning angle…

Questoins about the home-made spare-wheel-holder on the Dutch Dangel Berlingo, you can ask them to user Pepo.
I know he has/had a Dangel… http://loeke.xs4all.nl/fotoalbum/main.php?g2_itemId=150861
And there were some more users in here who had a Dangel. Don’t know there names anymore…

If you need further help, just shout.

On the back door is not very practical I think. Why not place a small roofrack on top of the Berlingo? And only mount it when you go with the caravan….

The spare wheel holder shown in the photo is just a common 4x4 accessory I think.
If you try to use such a thing on a single back door, you will kill either the door or the hinges.
Does the T@b have an Alco chassis? Then you can just buy a standard spare wheel holder which fits underneath the caravan.

Very nice combination by the way!

There is also the T@b XL with it’s spare wheel mounted at the back (do a google search for a picture). Maybe the construction of your T@b is the same as or at least comparable to the T@b XL so you can mount your spare wheel on the back of your regulair T@b as well.

Schijt aan originaliteit.

Thanks for all your reply’s You have been very helpfull. I think I’ll just stuff the sparewheel into the Berlingo. It will bee the cheapest solution Smile
