The pump looks ok, are you able to turn/ rotate the pulley? And does the rotor move along? Most common problems of the water SPAM are leaks or failed bearings.n If it is stuck this is your problem, otherwise…...
I looked at old pictures you sent before, one question: how are the belts tensioned? In your pictures the mounting bar of the generator is not connected and is used to tension the belt that drives the water pump.
One option in this stage might be to put coolant/water in the radiator and see if there is a free flow, could do the sane for the motor to check if there are any obstructions
en…. niet vergeten: zelf de slingers ophangen
Yes, SPAM looks very good. Yes it is able to turn pulley. There is no leaks. Belts are ok, tensioned.
I will try to put here video. everything turns good. but water stands. water is not moving…

ok. will check this
You mention that there is no flow but the waterpump is fine. This is an indication that something is blocked. Maybe you can check if the radiator is blocked?

Hi DS Fans!
My Friends Ordered 2 used water SPAM From Netherlands for this DS.
Changed Pump.
Seems there is no changes.
Car still overheats.
Now what we have. Here is puzzle to solve:
- There is good working water pump ( Have 3 water SPAM. )
- Radiator is changed, ordered used also from NL, washed, cleaned etc.
- New thermostat
- New radiator cup
- Engine is revised. New head gasket, etc.
try to work without thermostat, try other water pump.
Where is problem? Why it still overheats?
Are you sure you have flow?

So to make all to work need to make list that need to buy:
- bigger radiator ( old one, smaller maybe can sell to someone?)
- radiator tank;
- top brace for the radiator;
- two silent blocs attached to the hoist lug on the water pump;
- Then there’s the hose from the expansion tank to the lower radiator hose/‘elbow’;
- a couple of thin hoses connecting from the expansion tank
- the ‘bag’ that connects the air duct to the radiatoris it all?
Maybe someone have these parts for offer?Regards!
Is the bag and the tunnel connected?, zipper closed?
This is an essential part!
No, There is no flow
the bag and the tunnel Yes, they are connected., zipper closed.
Pipec must be wrong. because when take off pipe that go to heater matrix there is not coolant coming
sorry I write wrong. To heater matrix go coolant when engine hot. then it start to go.
Maybe is some air bubble in system?
Someone have drawings or photo how must be all pipes connected for cooling system?
Maybe need to put expansion tank? Maybe there is problem?
Will try with some other cars expansion tank to test how it works.
