As I have a multitude of Citroen’s now I have decided to obtain a pipe flaring tool. Can some one here point me to one I can purchase online
Also as an enquiry could someone tell me the dimensions of the various pipes for DS 2CV and H van so I know what to look out for, thank you

Here you can buy it:
http://www.citroworld.com/product_info.php?prod_id=1079&redirect_cat=22
It can flare pipes of 4,5 and 3,5 mm as well as brake lines for a H van. It’s expensive.
there is something less sophisticated available somewhere, also capable of doing the job.

Maybe you can contact the owner of that web site. It is probably much cheaper.

Would a universal pipe flaring tool such as from Midlock not work?? I have one to flare brake pipes, and once you get the hang of it it really works a treat…

Derk, no it wouldn’t. Universal brake pipes uses a different flange than citroen does. Im afraid you’ll need a citroen piping tool.

Right! Good to know… But I’ll get one from one of the addresses above, as soon as the Goddess gets stripped down. No problem then

check prices at chyparse first. I am not sure, but I think they are cheaper. also for greeney, they do ship to france.
http://www.automec.co.uk/oakes_tools/oakes_frame_set.html
I also found this one “automec” is a very well known company in the UK
Not sure of the price though as the “Buy it now” link is for the standard flarer not the Citroen one but I will email them

Greeney,
for DS you’ll only need the 4,5 mm tool.
The 3,5 mm is for CX and 2cv and others.
The 6,5 mm is for the HP pipe from HP pump to HP regulator(DS). Result of using this tool is poor…. (pipe size is too big, risc of damaging the pipe). Better have a good used one (HP pipe)in your trunk in case of emergency…
Good luck
