I have ordered my new pump and accumulator sphere it will arrive next week
Can any one offer any tips or advise before I dismantle everything?
Do I have to de pressurize even though it is leaking badly?
Any tips on how to go about bleeding the system
Where exactly is the accumulator?
This one is new to me having never done it before so help much appreciated

Yes, Depressurize! Or do you like LHM in your eyes and hair?
Remove the connection of the leads before removing the pump! Install the pump, install the lead, NOT TIGHT. give the belt tension, THEN tighten the lead. FILL THE PUMP before you start!!
To find the accumulator: Follow the big lead from the pump! Probably located lefthand side of the engine. To remove the sphere, work from the bottom up! Or remove the alternator and remove the entire High pressure unit!

To fill the pump, fill the filter and hose to the pump with LHM fluid, then quickly place it into the fluid container without spilling too much.
Next, start the engine and let it idle while you still have a loose ‘depressurize bolt’ on the pressure regulator (the size 12 one). This allows the pump to suck the LHM fluid easily because no pressure has to be produced yet. After a minute or so, tighten the size 12 bolt on the pressure regulator after which the car should rise.

Be sure to use a new rubber seal sleeve on the hydraulic pipe to prevent leakage.
Yes I have a good selection now as I bought a complete pipe kit including flare maker 50metres of various size pipe and all the seals etc
