Hi people.
Im a danish guy, and im restoring my 1983 GSA Entreprise Spécial.
Det color to come is gonna be the wellknown AC 323 jaune service.
I hope to have it running in the end of may, this year. Then you can see it at ICCCR in Rome.!
I would like to share the pictures with you guys, because we dont are many Citroën entusiasts in Denmark. So i would like to hear some comment from a larger crowd.
Here is some links to a danish Citroën forum, its called Citronik.dk:
Pictures of the car when i bought it.!
Pictures of the restoration, and still running.!
The engine tread.!
And for those ho can read Danish/Scandinavian: http://www.gs-gsa.dk.
What do you think about the rear side windows.? Original.? If not, the job is very well done.! But i hope to hear your opinions.!
Best regards from Alexander, Denmark.!

Hi Xander,
You are doing a nice job! Great to see how a Danish GSA is restored. A Swedish guy has also been showing pictures of his restaurations on this site. I bet you’ve seen it.
I don’t have an answer for the rear window. It seems not original but thats just a guess.
Good luck with restoring, I’ll follow the updates on the Danish sites.

Hello Xander,
You are doing a great job! And what a nice colour!
The rear quarter-windows are not original, I guess.
I am restoring a GS/A too. See and
Citroen!
A smaller update:
Now the car is almost finished. I think 2 weeks is all what is left. The car is getting shape again.
Is there anyone of you guys who is going to Germany to the meeting in about a month.?
Best regards from Alexander / Denmark.

Re: Pictures of a GSA Entreprise restoration
Hi Alexander,
You seem to be doing a proper job on restoring your GSA! I think it’s great that your saving one of the Enterprise (of Service) versions of the car, because they are very rare. Here in the Netherlands, I think there’s only about 4-5 running cars of this type left. I’m the owner of one of them, a blue (Bleu Azurite) GSA Spécial Service of 1981.
The rear windows in your car are definitely not original for the Enterprise version. They do look a lot like rear windows from a normal GSA Break though. On the Enterprise the sides of the rear department are devided in the same way as the normal Break (but closed, off course), so a lot of conversions with small windows like this, or even PE windows with the framework still in place, were done. I think what’s done on your car looks nice and not very common, although I would remove them and make the car original again.
Good luck with your restauration!
And do keep us well fed with photos

You are totally correct about the rear windows. They are from a break, made after the sale. My guess is that they are made when the car had a big rust repair for many years ago. The frames around the windows are very nice made.
I thinked about them alot before i desided to let them be. They are as much as we dislike them, a very big part of my cars history. So i desided to ignore them and let them be.
In Denmark, because of our weather og the goverment spreading salt, every winter in big amounts, the cars is rusting very fast. So the old Citroëns is off course almost gone everyone. Only 8 GSA and 8 GS is on licenceplates today and running in Denmark. My Entreprise will be the 9’th GSA in a few weeks, and the first Entreprise in a long time, and the only running. That will have the result that i have over 20% of all GSA’s runnning i Denmark (I also have a white 1983 GSA Spécial Berline).

Okay, here is some information.
I don’t speak german, and understand only a tiny bit, but here is some:
Sommertreffen der Citroen GS & GSA Interessengemeinschaft 18. bis 20.07.2008, Rötgesbüttel.
Here is a link to the german GS homepage were you can find more information:
I am coming, hopefully in my Entreprise, my littlebrother in my GSA Spécial Berline, and my 2 god friends from Copenhagen, and they have a 73 GS 1220 Club Berline and a 74 GS 1220 Club Break. So 4 cars from Denmark.
And PSSST, don’t say anything to the germans. We hope to surprise them. There has never been any Danes to their meeting.
By the way. I were at the Citromobile in Utrecht this year, and i plan to come next year also, in my GSA Entreprise.!

Keep us informed about the restauration, I like the pictures very much!
Don’t know where you find the time, it’s a beautiful project. Seems you have more to come, judging by the pictures

Question,
the green GSA in the picrture below has gat a extra tube fixed on the coolingfan plating. Do you know what purpose it has?
Great to see the pictures of the restauration again. I think it’s the 4th time I browsed them
My other car is a broomstick.
You mean the hose below the ventilator housing?
That’s the feeding tube for the hydrolic pump.

No I mean the big beige (heating) hose on the mid right side of the housing (front fiew perspective) of the green GSA on the right side of the picture. You need to sroll the picture to the right to see it.
My other car is a broomstick.
It is air cooling for the oilcooler, fitted in the left inner wing. It is for C-matic gearbox.!
It is a fully packed GSA Pallas C-matic, only run 104000km. It is the next projekt. It is one of my friends.!
How i get the time.?? Well i don’t know. I work at a Citroëngarage as a mechanic also.
