Hello,
I have an almost lovely driving GSA 1983 Pallas C-matic, 104.000 km
According to the literature, I have to fill in the new oil on at the top of the gearbox. That is not possible without moving the caliper first. Now I wonder if I can just put the new oil in the level-plug instead? I can only drain it for about 1,4 liters, as I see enough oil is coming back to the gearbox again by putting it ind the level-plug. Am I missing something, it doesn’t seems easy.
I have only driven the car about 20 km, and before that, it hasn’t driven since 1999, 2 things seems wrong:
If I move slowly forward in 1. speed, the motor stops - how can that happen? Is it about the gearbox or about the caburetter?
In 2. speed and medium gas, it kind of switch off the speed and its only comming back moving by low gas. It only happens in 2. speed and it seems to get better when the engine gets warmer.
Is it just about driving a bit more, changing oil or is there something more wrong?

I think I found the answar about filling here:

Yet another question.
My car was sold in Denmark in March 1983, and produced in January same year. The plate “c-matic” is missing on the back? Is that because of the late produced c-matic, or is it simply gone?
And if it is missing, does anyone have it for sale?
