Dear Citroen family,
I recently got a 2014 so irresistible DS3, and i have a few questions.
1. how can i update the GPS data?
2. how can i recharge the perfume thingy?
3. is there a way to make the windows go down with just one long press of the button? (now i have to keep the button pressed until it goes down all the way)
4. how can i edit (or in last case remove) an entry from the gps database (saved addresses)
Thank you very much for your help.

Welcome to Citroën-Forum.nl, cachirro. Perfume cartridges are available at your Citroën or DS dealership, who could also provide you with the latest maps for your navigation system. If you prefer to buy those on the internet, the only legal source would be http://citroen.navigation.com.

Thanks for your reply Rens, as far as i can see the NL map is for Q1-2017, is there any way to check which version do i currently have?
And do you know anything about my windows question?

For the windows I can’t be of any help, but for the navigation system I can . We have put together an overview of all Citroën and DS systems: click! According to that, a 2014 DS3 should be equipped with eMyWay, of which the installed maps could be verified by pushing the “Nav” button, selecting “map management” and then “maps and updates”.

Thanks Rens,
i will check my gps map version later.
Regarding the perfume thing, i found some recharges but only in UK, does anyone uses an online site to order them? Or does everyone just buys them in Citroen? (no idea about price differences)
Thanks.

There’s a whole thread about those perfume cartridges: https://www.citroen-forum.nl/forums/viewthread/209280/. Summary: owners either don’t smell anything or don’t like what they smell…

Cachirro,
about the qeustion for your elctric windows: turn your key(in the ignation) on to the first click and then lift your window button up and hold it for a couple of seconds. If this wont do,try to push it down and hold it for a couple of seconds.after this the window will go up and down with just one touch on the button.

i’m gonna search for a online manual, see what they say about that.
simply translated they say you’ve got 2 options for the windows:
1st: manual control: pull or push the button until the resistance, the window will stop,if you release the button
2nd: full control: pull or push the button trough the resistance, after releasing the button, the window will go all the way up or down. control the button again to open or close

Thank you for your help Ray.
Haven’t been able to make it work yet, must be something really specific that i am failing to reproduce.
and here is a new question:
4. how can i edit (or in last case remove) an entry from the gps database (saved addresses)
Can anyone help? Thanks.
I don’t know if you can remove them one by one. You can try to reset the whole system by pressing the eject or power button till it turns off.
Thanks for the tip Vyper, the GPS software seems to be very limited then, strange in this modern times to be missing something that simple as an edit or delete function from a saved list.
